    Most people think of unconditional love to mean “I couldn’t love you any less, no matter what.” But what I think unconditional love means is “I couldn’t love you any more, no matter what.” Either way, it sounds neat.

    Let The Record Show

    That even though I performed a barely passable version of “Every Little Step” by Bobby Brown at the Brass Monkey tonight, I did take the 12 bar break to perform a word-perfect rendition of Mr. Brown’s rap from “On Our Own” from the Ghostbusters 2 soundtrack. It’s this kind of attention to detail that I hope will come to represent my legacy. Thank you for your time.

    What a sad, sad thing that you can’t be here to see it, but you did something with your life that no politician in yours ever did or could: you unified the United States of America. Today you’re making people think more than speak. And maybe when they’re done thinking, they’ll speak differently. And then maybe after they speak differently others will want to think differently, and maybe that’s how the world comes to change for the better.

    I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to catch a show on both the winter and summer legs of the Battle Studies tour. Words can’t express how I felt about the shows. When someone would ask me how the show was, all I could say was “It was great… It was amazing!” A John Mayer live show is an experience so personal to me that I just can’t explain. :)
